Steve started STS with one goal in mind: To be the premier on-site drug and alcohol testing company in the mid-Atlantic region. Steve had previously spent over twenty years in a variety of business development roles serving in direct sales roles, sales training roles and also as the VP of Sales for a 100M dollar business to business retailer.
Steve’s passion for customer service is the lifeblood of STS, and can be summed up by the Secure Testing Services Mission Statement: "We will provide an exceptional customer service experience with every customer interaction".
In his spare time Steve enjoys traveling, spending time with his family, and exploring Richmond with his yellow lab “Dawkins”.
Sarah's experience teaching for over twenty years in the Virginia public school system provides STS with an array of unique skill sets ranging from organizational analysis, leadership and informational technology. Sarah is the nucleus of all administrative operations at STS and nothing moves from one desk to the next at the STS corporate headquarters without Sarah's set of eyes hitting it. Sarah is a 1997 graduate of Lynchburg College and holds a BA in Early Childhood Education.
When not at the office Sarah can be found reading a good book, walking the dogs or traveling.
Kristopher's love of competition has shaped him into being someone who strives to be the best in all he does. Kristopher brings that passion and work ethic to his role here at STS. He is known for being a great communicator, relationship builder and teammate. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, anything sports related, and his French Bulldog named Kai.
Chrissy has worked for 16 years as a Special Education Teacher, focusing primarily on helping students transition out of high school and into the real world. She also runs a small non-profit animal rescue. Most of her free time is spent with her family and her dogs, but she can also be found at most VCU basketball home games.
Charlie is a Navy Corpsman Vet with over ten years phlebotomy experience. He is currently continuing his education towards becoming an RN. When not working Charlie likes to travel and spend time with family. Charlie's hobbies include brewing his own beer, gardening and spending time around the nearest body of water.
April has worked as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist for 12 years in a large hospital setting as well as a private cancer center as a Bench Tech, Quality Assurance Supervisor and Point of Care Coordinator. She enjoys the behind the scenes science of medicine. In her spare time, she enjoys hunting, field trialing and baseball, especially the Atlanta Braves.
Cyndi's two decades of teaching experience have certainly taught her how to think on her feet! She gets excited about helping others, especially her second grade students that need extra attention. At home, her two boys keep her busy, but she is an avid reader and swims competitively at the Masters level.
Tristan will be graduating in the spring with a degree in Marketing from University of Virginia's prestigious McIntire School of Commerce. During his time in college, he has learned the value of effective communication as well as prompt and professional service. In his free time, he loves teaching swim lessons and playing basketball.
