Steve started Secure Testing Services, LLC in 2015 with the goal to provide organizations throughout Virginia, and subsequently the entire US, with solutions centered around their safety, compliance and substance abuse prevention programs. Prior to STS, Steve spent the previous twenty years in a variety of business development roles serving in both direct sales roles, sales training roles, and as the VP of Sales for a 100M dollar business-to-business retailer. Steve is a certified Carew trainer, and has had the privilege of speaking to groups large and small on a variety of topics, including sales training, increasing customer service levels, and increasing employee morale in the workplace.
Steve’s passion for customer service is the lifeblood of Secure Testing Services, LLC and can be summarized in the STS Mission Statement:
"We will provide an exceptional customer service experience with every customer interaction".
In his spare time, Steve enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, golfing, and exploring Richmond, VA with his yellow lab named Dawkins.
COO & President
Sarah's experience teaching for over twenty years in the Virginia public school system provides STS with an array of unique skill sets ranging from organizational analysis, leadership, and informational technology. Sarah is the nucleus of all administrative operations at STS and nothing moves from one desk to the next at the STS corporate headquarters without Sarah's set of eyes hitting it. Sarah is a 1997 graduate of Lynchburg College and holds a BA in Early Childhood Education.
When not at the office Sarah can be found reading a good book, walking the dogs, or traveling.
Director of Clinical Services
Elise joined Secure Testing Services, LLC in 2021 as the Director of Clinical Services. Prior to STS, Elise served as the surgical coordinator for a local, well-known surgical practice in Richmond, VA for twelve years. Elise obtained her licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in 2008.
Elise oversees the clinic at Secure Testing Services. Her ability to work cross-functionally, oversee various internal projects, and work with both patients and affiliated labs make her a valuable asset to STS.
In her spare time Elise enjoys watching a good movie, playing board games, and spending time with family.
Director of OSH Training & Compliance
Beth started her career in occupational safety and health training in the late 90’s when she discovered the need for quality and consistent training in the workplace.
While building a consulting business of her own, Beth continued to expand her knowledge of training and become an authorized CPR Instructor. She went on to be a global auditor for a Fortune 500 company, a safety manager for a heavy manufacturing plant overseeing four sites, and most recently, a safety leader at a food manufacturing plant.
Whether it is auditing, compliance writing, or working side-by-side with smaller businesses, Beth’s passion remains the same: Creating partnerships that provide workplace solutions.
In her spare time, Beth enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and volunteering in her community.
